 • Hilton Head National. Just off the island on US 278, this course is a Gary Player design. It has 27 holes with the "original" 18 of a more traditional design, the newest 9 are the most challenging. Always in great shape, but also always very busy: expect 5 hour rounds and delays.

Get in

By car

 • US 278. This US Highway is the main thoroughfare of Hilton Head and can be reached by Interstate 95, a primary interstate highway on the Eastern Seaboard.

By plane

 • Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, SAV. It is located near Savannah, about an hour away from the island.
 • There is small airport on island, but it features limited service.
